Baotou industrial park reaches 10G level
The Baotou Rare-earth Hi-tech Zone's Rare-earth Application Industrial Park has become the only 10-gigabit pilot industrial park in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region. The establishment was recently announced at the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Artificial Intelligence Development Conference.

As the zone's main industrial agglomeration area, the Rare Earth Application Industrial Park covers multiple key fields such as rare earth permanent magnets, hydrogen storage, and polishing, and plays a key role in promoting the cluster development of the rare earth industry.
With the support of a 10G optical network, significant breakthroughs have been made in the construction of network infrastructure in the park. Enterprises will enjoy faster and more stable network services, and the pace of intelligent upgrading will be accelerated. The pilot construction also injects strong impetus into the digital and intelligent transformation and upgrading of the rare earth industry, laying a solid network communication foundation for the zone to apply for the designation of "national high standard digital park".

10G is the future of optical networks and an important component of the new information infrastructure. In recent years, the Rare-earth High-tech Zone has introduced multiple policies to encourage enterprises to strengthen their network infrastructure construction and data security protection and build a comprehensive network and data security system.
The zone will take the pilot construction of the 10G industrial park as an opportunity to explore more application scenarios for new technologies such as 5G and the Internet of Things in the rare earth industry and encourage enterprises to make progress in intelligent production and network collaboration.
