The business environment of Baotou Rare-earth High-tech Zone showed excellent performance in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region's 2024 National Development Zone Business Environment Assessment.

The zone relies on its abundant resources and complete industrial chain to enhance the international competitiveness of foreign trade entities. Its talent chain and innovation chain performed outstandingly, with many postdoctoral workstations and innovation platforms. The zone's technology contract turnover ranks top among the Inner Mongolia autonomous region's national development zones, with a high R&D investment intensity of enterprises above the designated size (those with annual revenue of more than 20 million yuan).

Of all the respondents, 82.77 percent expressed satisfaction with the business environment of the zone, and 89.57 percent were satisfied with the efficiency and service attitude of enterprise market entry.

The zone will take this evaluation as an opportunity to accelerate the standardization, digitization, and intelligent transformation of government services, improve the comprehensive regulatory services, and promote the upgrading of the zone's business environment.
