The Baotou municipal finance bureau has invested 39.42 million yuan ($5.48 million) into various project funds of the market supervision department in the past three years, helping improve the quality and efficiency in key areas.

Special funds have been allocated for the city's food and drug safety supervision, emergency services, and toward the construction of "24-hour pharmacies", strengthening daily supervision and enhancing emergency response capabilities.

The city has also been supporting the construction of a new energy operation center for intellectual property rights with special funds and promoting the high-quality development of intellectual property work with reward funds from 2021 to 2023.

In 2024, the total amount of intellectual property pledge financing in the city reached 1.21 billion yuan, with a cumulative breakthrough of 4.2 billion yuan and an average annual growth rate of 58 percent, ranking first in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region for four consecutive years.

The bureau will continue to strengthen the overall management of project funds, enhance performance management, and ensure that financial funds are used more effectively.
