Since the beginning of this year, the Baotou municipal bureau of industry and information technology has obtained special funds of 250 million yuan ($35.07 million) for eight projects in three key industrial parks. The city received these funds through an application for the development of industrial parks in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, ranking first for the number of projects and second for the amount of funds.

Inner Mongolia has allocated a total of 1.7 billion yuan in special funds for the development of industrial parks, with three projects in the Baotou Rare Earth High-tech Zone receiving 104.75 million yuan, three projects in the Hondlon Economic and Technological Development Zone receiving 68.5 million yuan, and two projects in the Shiguai Economic Development Zone receiving 76.75 million yuan.

These funds will be used for the upgrading and renovation of infrastructure, including roads, water and power supplies, and standard factories in industrial parks, providing strong support to enhance their comprehensive service capabilities.
