Baotou's high-tech zone introduces two professional scholars
The "2025 Overseas Doctoral Talent Baotou-Entrepreneurship-Tour and Haizhi Experts Baotou-Tour" event concluded on Aug 27. It focused on the technological needs of key industries and created a bridge between overseas talent and enterprises.
Located in Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, the Baotou Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Development Zone attracted two scholars: Huang Yuelong, a senior scientist who previously worked at the Photovoltaic Research Institute of the Forschungszentrum Jülich in Germany and a specially appointed expert in China's first "Talent Introduction Plan", and Ding Yong, an expert in the Chinese Academy of Sciences' talent program, specializing in the research and industrialization of ultra-high-performance rare earth permanent magnetic materials.
They will support the development of the new energy and rare earth industries in this high-tech zone.
Wu signed an agreement with Baotou Hailiang Technology Co to collaborate on rare earth polishing materials. The event also launched a technology demand database for small and medium-sized enterprises, strengthening the link between enterprises' technological needs and talent.
The Baotou Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Development Zone will continue to promote close cooperation between enterprises and talent, accelerating the application of innovative achievements.
