On Sept 16, the launch ceremony and work promotion meeting of the Baotou Rare Earth High-tech Zone Rare Earth Industry Collaborative Innovation Network were held in Baotou.

At the meeting, the Baotou Rare Earth High-tech Zone joined with six national high-tech zones in cities like Beijing, Shenzhen, and Ganzhou, each with its own characteristics and strong capabilities, to establish a collaborative innovation network for the rare earth industry.

The establishment of the network marks a crucial step for China's rare earth industry from "individual breakthrough" to "cluster breakthrough".

The participating high-tech zones discussed the establishment of a rare earth collaborative innovation consortium, joint research and development of key core rare earth technologies, cross regional supply and demand docking in key areas, and the establishment of a rare earth industry achievement transformation fund, jointly exploring new paths for the development of the rare earth industry.

This conference also included a key inspection section, which organized representatives to conduct on-site inspections of key enterprises in Baotou's rare earth industry, showcasing the development achievements.

The network will utilize the advantages and leading role of the national high-tech zone, build an efficient collaborative mechanism for the entire rare earth industry chain, promote the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation, and aid in the construction of the "two rare earth bases".
