Inner Mongolia releases virus prevetion, control notice

In order to further prevent the spread of the epidemic, Inner Mongolia's novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic prevention and control department released a statement on Oct 20.

The following announcements were made.

Disclose your travel history

If you have traveled to the border city of Ereenhot in Xiliin Gol League or Ejine Banner in Alshaa League since Oct 1, 2021, please take the initiative to report to local villages, communities, workplaces, or hotels, and cooperate with the local disease control department to carry out virus prevention and control measures such as nucleic acid testing and health monitoring.

If there is any concealment or postponement of the report, relevant personnel will be held accountable in accordance with laws and regulations if negative consequences result.

Don't leave unless necessary

In the near future, traveling and visiting relatives and friends in cities and regions where there are local outbreaks is not recommended. If you must go, please take necessary precautions. 

Before returning to Inner Mongolia, you must report to your work unit and residential community in advance and follow the requirements for local virus prevention and control.

Implement strict virus prevention, control rules in public places

All shopping malls, supermarkets, catering venues, accommodation, farmer's markets, cultural and entertainment venues, and other public places such as airports, railway stations, subways, and bus stations must strictly carry out ventilation, disinfection, sanitation, and cleanliness.

Wearing masks and checking body temperatures and health codes in these places should be implemented strictly.

Take self-protection measures

Please remain vigilant and take self-protection precautions when going out.

Please wash hands frequently, maintain social distance, ensure proper ventilation, and keep rooms clean.

Do not participate in public gatherings and avoid crowded places. Avoid outdoor activities as much as possible and wear masks when going out. 

If symptoms such as a fever, cough, headache, fatigue, or dyspnea occur, please seek immediate medical treatment at nearby hospitals and avoid taking public transportation if possible.
