The nucleic acid test results of people who came into contact with the confirmed COVID-19 case from Ordos' Dongsheng district and Dalad Banner all turned up negative.

Ejin Horoo Banner in the city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous reported one confirmed COVID-19 case on Oct 25, according to the Ordos Health Commission.

The patient is currently being treated in isolation at the Second Ordos People's Hospital and is in stable health condition.

As of Oct 27, Dalad Banner had traced 277 people who had come into contact with the confirmed case. All the contacts have received nucleic acid tests, which came back negative, and are under centralized quarantine.

Dongsheng district traced 247 contacts as of Oct 28, all of which tested negative.

Contact tracing and investigation work are still ongoing.
