Along with a rise in temperature as spring arrives, the Chen Barga Banner in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region is also entering the season of calf, lamb and foal delivery, bringing new life to the grassland.

Information from the agriculture and animal husbandry science and technology department of Chen Barga Banner shows that since March, delivery work on regional livestock cubs has been steadily carried out under professional guidance.

The banner has already completed the delivery of 48,000 lambs and is expected to deliver a total of 568,000 this year.

Xirem, a herdsman in the banner, has been engaged in animal husbandry for many years. He said that his family now has more than 300 ewes and 70 cattle.

He started lamb delivery work on March 10 and has delivered around 60 lambs so far.

"This year, I have stocked up on enough forage grass, and sheds and other infrastructure are sufficient, so I can also ensure the growth of the lambs," Xirem said.
