In recent years, Wang has been actively involved in advocating for technological innovation and economic development. To reach this goal, he has provided valuable suggestions for the reform and development of Baotou.

He submitted 12 proposals in total to the committee, including suggestions for establishing an industrial base for emergency support specialized vehicles in Baotou, promoting the listing of Baotou's small and medium-sized enterprises in the Beijing Stock Exchange, as well as advancing the integration of information technology and industrialization in Baotou.

Of his suggestions, the proposal on promoting the listing of Baotou’s small and medium-sized enterprises in the Beijing Stock Exchange has been prioritized by the committee.

At the third session of the 14th CPPCC Baotou Municipal Committee, Wang submitted a proposal titled "Establishing and Improving Countermeasures for Technological Innovations of 'specialized and sophisticated' Small and Medium-sized Enterprises to Address Weaknesses".

In regard to addressing the shortcomings in technological innovation for "specialized and sophisticated" small and medium-sized enterprises, Wang also proposed accelerating the construction of a big data information platform to support technological innovation services for businesses. Additionally, he suggested establishing and improving mechanisms for financial and tax policies to support research and development expenses related to technological innovation.
