Baogang Hospital invites Beijing experts to conduct free clinic activity

Baogang Hospital of Inner Mongolia, located in Baotou city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, invited eight ophthalmology experts from Beijing to conduct a free ophthalmology clinical diagnosis event on March 9.

The experts are from top hospitals in Beijing, including Beijing Tongren Hospital, Fu Xing Hospital of Capital Medical University, and Aerospace Center Hospital.

At the event, the experts used slit lamps and other instruments to conduct meticulous eye examinations on patients, carefully analyzing their conditions, and providing professional advice to those who needed it.

Ms Wu, a patient that attended the activity, said, "My left eye has been a bit blurry since last year, and I wanted to seek treatment in Beijing. Fortunately, this time, the experts from Beijing came to Baotou."

The activity lasted more than four hours, providing ophthalmic diagnosis services to nearly 400 people. It received unanimous praise from everyone.

Baogang Hospital is committed to providing better ophthalmic medical services to local residents. Recently, the hospital hired well-known Beijing ophthalmologist Ling Yu as the director of its ophthalmology department. 

Ling stated that Baogang Hospital's ophthalmology department will now focus on creating technological breakthroughs in the treatment of cataracts, the leading cause of blindness in China.
