A bus travels along a special bus transit lane located in Gangtie Street in Baotou, in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Aug 16. Construction work for the transit lane, located on the northern part of Gangtie Street, was completed eight days earlier and it was opened to traffic. After the work, the thickness of the road surface of the transit lane was increased to 72 centimeters, which can meet current and future traffic load requirements.
