Inner Mongolia North Hauler Joint Stock Co, or NHL, is a Baotou-based manufacturer specializing in research and development, production and sales of off-highway mining trucks and their components in China.

Founded in 1988 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in June 2000, NHL is now a leading company in its field, according to analysts.

The company’s plant, which covers an area of just under 67 hectares, has an annual production capacity of 1,000 trucks.

The company has the only national engineering research center on mining vehicles in China.

It is the president unit of the Engineering Transportation Machinery Branch of the China Construction Machinery Industry Association and of the Mining Vehicle Branch of China Society of Automotive Engineers.

The company is the lead compilation unit for national standards for mining vehicles, as well as being among China's first group of 54 top manufacturing demonstration enterprises.

The company was selected as one of the Top 50 Global Construction Machinery Manufacturers for five consecutive years, from 2012 to 2016.

Currently, the company's mining vehicles have a market share in China of more than 80 percent and its market abroad has expanded to 63 countries and regions. Its cumulative total sales rank it first in China and third in the world.
