Inner Mongolia Overseas Returnee Entrepreneurship Park

Founded in 2002 -- following approval by the government of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region and Baotou city’s municipal government -- the Inner Mongolia Overseas Returnee Entrepreneurship Park is the first such park of its kind in the region.
In January 2010, the park was rated as a national-level overseas high-level talent innovation and entrepreneurship base by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.
Located in the Baotou Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, the park has 11,000 square meters of space for incubators, 140,000 sq m of high-tech industry incubator space, 110,000 sq m of high-tech industry acceleration space, and a 59-hectare university industrialization science park.
The park has made progress hiring top people, with a total of 391 high-level returnee talent having located there to date.
Among the returnee talents, 136 hold a doctorate and 148 hold a master’s degree. A total of 376 companies set up by overseas returnees have been established in the park.
The park boasts one listed company and one autonomous region-level academician workstation.
