A total of 14 companies based in Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, have been selected in the 2020 Inner Mongolia Top 100 Private Enterprises List, according to a recent announcement by the Inner Mongolia Association of Industry and Commerce.

With a total operating income of 11.29 billion yuan ($1.73 billion), East Hope Baotou Rare Earth Aluminum Co ranked tenth among private enterprises in the autonomous region and first in Baotou city.

The 14 Baotou companies also included Inner Mongolia Yaxin Longshun Special Steel Co, Baotou East Hope Aluminum Alloy Co, and Zhongdi Yingang Construction Group Co.

The entry threshold for the top 100 private enterprises this year has continued to rise, with the required operating income reaching 1.47 billion yuan, an increase of 157 million yuan over the previous year, and a year-on-year growth of 11.98 percent.

At the same time, the scale of the shortlisted companies continues to expand. The companies continue to maintain their contribution to society in terms of paying taxes and providing employment opportunities.
