Baotou's added value of industries grows in H1
Baotou in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region recorded growth in the added value of industries above a designated scale with the growth rate standing at 17.6 percent in the first half of 2021, ranking first among the 12 leagues and cities in the autonomous region, according to statistics released by the city's statistics bureau.
During the six-month period, the added value of the mining industry increased by 10 percent year on year, the manufacturing industry increased by 24.4 percent year on year, and the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water increased by 2.5 percent year on year.
In the first half of this year, the added value of State-owned holding companies increased by 7.1 percent year on year. The added value of joint-stock enterprises increased by 17.1 percent year on year. The added value of foreign, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan-invested enterprises increased by 23.2 percent year-on-year, and the added value of private enterprises increased by 35.1 percent year-on-year.
During the same period, Baotou city's industrial production and sales rate above a designated size was 100.5 percent, an increase of 1.5 percentage points over the same period last year.
