Inner Mongolia First Machinery receives 'benchmarking enterprise' honors
Inner Mongolia First Machinery Group, based in Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, was successfully selected as a "benchmarking enterprise", according to a notice issued by the General Office of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.
The benchmarking selection is a nationwide campaign that was initiated in March 2021. This selection focuses on companies and enterprises with outstanding management capabilities, distinctive management characteristics, and a strong influence in three categories: grassroots enterprises, professional benchmarking fields and enterprise groups.
Founded in 1954, Inner Mongolia First Machinery Group was one of 156 key construction projects developed during the first Five-Year Plan period (1953-57), and the largest machinery manufacturer based in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
The company continues to promote management innovation business aspects such as strategy, technology, and operations, and many of its management innovation achievements have won national, provincial and ministerial awards.
