Baogang Group, the largest iron and steel manufacturer based in Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, is to cooperate with Baoshan Iron & Steel Co (Baosteel) to promote the steel pipe industry, and both companies recently signed the cooperation framework agreement.

The in-depth cooperation between the two parties is committed to promoting the specialization and platform construction of the steel pipe industry.

The two companies will fully integrate their respective advantages and carry out comprehensive cooperation in the steel pipe sector to optimize resource allocation, improve the level of professional operation, and build a high-quality steel pipe industry ecosystem.

As a pivotal enterprise in the steel pipe industry, Baosteel has modern production lines with annual outputs of 1.7 million metric tons of seamless steel pipes and 800,000 tons of welded pipes.

Baogang Group owns four domestic advanced continuous-rolled steel pipe production lines, and is one of the seamless pipe production bases with the most complete varieties and specifications in China.
