Baotou approves service-oriented manufacturing pilot demonstration enterprises
Baotou in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region has approved 22 local enterprises as the first group of service-oriented manufacturing pilot demonstration enterprises, according to Baotou Daily.
The 22 enterprises, including Baogang Group Electric Co, and Inner Mongolia Qianshan Heavy Industry Co, were selected by the city's industry and information technology bureau in order to promote the integration and development of the advanced manufacturing industry and modern service industry in Baotou.
Service-oriented manufacturing is a new type of industry that integrates manufacturing and service development, and is important for the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing.
Through innovation and optimization of production organization forms, operation management methods and business development models, manufacturing enterprises continue to increase the proportion of service elements in input and output, which is conducive to extending and upgrading the value chain.
