Truck manufacturer Inner Mongolia North Hauler Joint Stock Co, or NHL, based in Baotou city, in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, recently signed a contract to supply its TR100A mining truck, in an export deal worth 300 million yuan ($47.16 million), according to local media reports.
The trucks will be used in Africa, in the Congo (DRC) China Molybdenum Project and the Congo (DRC) China Iron Resources Project – both in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, formerly Zaire, in Central Africa.
The latest deal is said to underscore the fact that China's high-end equipment manufacturing industry, represented by NHL, is winning recognition in the global market.
The TR100A mining truck is the company's classic model. It is said to feature considerable power, an excellent climbing performance, high efficiency, low consumption and low operating costs over its entire life cycle – as well as being highly adaptable to the environment.
