The 14th Ice and Snow Nadam Festival got off to a roaring start, in Chen Barag Banner, Hunlunbuir League of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Dec 23, offering a variety of activities with Mongolian ethnic flavor.

"Nadam" is a Mongolian word for entertainment or recreation and there is plenty of that at this traditional exuberant celebration of Mongolian culture and sports.
