While the first session of the Inner Mongolia Culture and Tourism Integrated Development Theme Activities kicked off on Feb 25 in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, a total of 3,000 cultural works from 181 companies, public institutions and individuals were displayed in the region’s capital, to coincide with this event.

These exhibits attracted large numbers of visitors swarming into the Inner Mongolia Exhibition, where the exhibition was held. Some of them were surprised by the exquisite works.

“The development environment for the cultural industry is getting better and better in recent years, and is a great inspiration for the cultural businesses’ creativity. The integrated development of culture and tourism promises to be a bright prospect for us,” said Wang Haiming, the director of Chifeng Sculpture Art Association.

The Inner Mongolia autonomous regional Party Committee and government have attached great importance to cultural industry. The region’s vast cultural resources provided a solid foundation for local cultural industry development. Featuring ethnic and regional characteristics, Inner Mongolia has framed a harmonious cultural industrial layout, incorporating art performances, cultural travel, radio, film, television, news media, cultural entertainment, art works and animations.
