Inner Mongolia to push forward integrated development of culture and tourism

A total of 34 projects with an investment of 56.67 billion yuan ($9.25 billion) were successfully matched at an match-making agreement-signing ceremony of the first session of the Inner Mongolia Culture and Tourism Integrated Development Theme Activities, on Feb 25 in Hohhot, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

This event organized 65 projects, involving the manufacture of artwork, tourism and cultural industrial parks, while 34 projects actually came to an agreement, which will be significant in improving the region’s culture and tourism, extend the industrial chain and promote the integration of culture and tourism and their development.

Wu Tuanying, deputy director of the standing committee of Inner Mongolia Regional People’s Congress; Liu Xinle, vice-chairman of Inner Mongolia autonomous region and Zheng Futian, vice-chairman of the Inner Mongolia autonomous regional CPPCC Committee were present at the ceremony.

The match-making was a part of the Inner Mongolia Culture and Tourism Integrated Development Theme Activities, in addition to a forum and a cultural products exhibition surrounding culture and tourism integrated development.
