On April 25, an agreement to strengthen cooperation on intellectual property protection was signed between the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Department of Public Security and five renowned Inner Mongolia-based enterprises, including Yili Industrial Group Co, Erdos Group and Mengniu Dairy Co. To date, more than 30 key brand enterprises in Inner Mongolia have been included in an intellectual property protection platform established by the police.

Violations of intellectual property rights continues, which have caused problems in marketing. Such illegal acts not only violate the rights of intellectual property, but also harm the legal rights of consumers, said an official from the regional public security department.

Therefore, the region’s public security bureaus at different levels are cooperating with corresponding functional organs and enterprises to form a joint force to fight, prevent and control the violation of intellectual property rights.
