Zhou Ding, known for his landscape painting, was born in Jiaocheng City, Shanxi province, in 1955. In 1988, he was introduced to Hohhot as an artist. Over the years, Zhou Ding has devoted himself to his art, and is a member of the Chinese Artists Association, director of the Inner Mongolia Artists Association, and subeditor of Painter and Calligrapher. Zhou Ding has held joint and solo exhibitions in Beijing, Luoyang, Guilin, Chengdu, Taiwan, and Malaysia. The most representative of his works are “Yellow River”, “Hope from the Mountain” and “Golden Autumn”.
Zhou Ding is fond of painting Yinshan Mountain, which is characterized by its size and clear structure. In Zhou Ding's paintings, Yinshan Mountain’s full magnificence and complexity are created and presented, creating a strong visual impact on viewers.
