Inner Mongolia undergraduates to enjoy entrepreneurial subsidy

2014-09-12 (chinadaily.com.cn)

College students in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region can enjoy entrepreneurial subsidies five years after graduation, starting this year.

The local government will deal out no less than 10,000 yuan ($1,631.48) to start-up enterprises in college student entrepreneurial parks or business incubators as well as other entrepreneurial platforms accredited by the human resources and social security department.

The new policy will target students from unemployed families and poor rural households as well as the disabled. The money will be disbursed from a special fund for college graduate employment. Graduates engaging in private, small and micro businesses will receive social insurance subsidies for no more than three years. To date, Inner Mongolia offers policy consultation, information and finance service, project development, risk evaluation, and tracking and support for college graduates to help them start their own business.
