Covering an area of about 1,600 mu (106.67 hectares), China Mobile (Hohhot) Data Center is expected to have a service capacity of 40,000 racks in a building of 720,000 square meters. The project, with a total investment of 22 billion yuan, is positioned to be the world-leading cloud computing data center. It intends to be a centralized operation support system that is cross-regional, interdisciplinary and trans-industry to provide services nationwide. Gradually, it's expected to consolidate centralized network management, business support and enterprise informatization to promote R&D and innovation of new technologies such as TD-LTE, cloud computing and the Internet of Things. 

Environmental-friendly technologies will be widely applied in the data center.
