The musical festival showcased musicians from the local area along with invited foreign musicians from eight countries, including Cuba, Brazil, and the United States.

The festival opened with the popular Mongolian-style song, “Wild Goose,” sung by Hu Sileng, a young Mongolian ethnic singer, which electrified the audience and warmed everyone up for the rest of the show.

A Cuban musician, using a Chinese name, Li Yunshan, performed an original song, “Kung Pao Chicken” (a popular Chinese dish), surprising the local music fans.

“I feel a bit hungry after singing the song,” Li joked after finishing his song.

The festival concluded with a singer called Yun Fei, who performed folk songs including “Splendid Grasslands, Beautiful Girls” and “Beyond the Horizon”.

Arxan, located at the southwest of the Greater Hinggan Mountains, is home to beautiful scenery including forests, grasslands, rivers and lakes, mineral-rich springs, along with refreshing air and unique ethnic customs, attracting thousands of tourists to the area.

Arxan hopes the festival will help boost tourism to the area and enhance cultural exchanges with other areas.
