Liu Xiaohong, the only seamstress working for Hohhot Railway Bureau, has mended seats and berths on over 1,800 trains traveling in and out of Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Liu, a 28-year-old woman, has gone through nearly 600 rolls of cotton thread over the past six years. The skin on her hands has even started to harden from all the work she has done.
