The machines are called "transformers" by local farmers because of their flexible design. The machines are run by the Xinguang Agricultural Machinery Cooperative and are part of a national pilot program run by the Ministry of Agriculture since 2013. The cooperative adopts the half-trusteed system and provides services such as plowing, flatting, raking, and sowing for over 267 hectares of local farmland. [Photo/nmgnews.com.cn]
