The World Desert Wine Festival took place in Wuhai on Sept 8, attracting over 50 wine tasters, as well as winery and vineyard owners from 11 foreign countries.

Wuhai is inherent with various natural advantages, including a big temperature difference between day and night, long periods of sunshine, and abundant geothermal energy, making it an ideal location for vineyards.

During the three-day event, various activities including wine exhibitions, tastings, business negotiations and desert wine development forums were held to build the brand and increase the influence of wine produced in Wuhai.
