2017-10-12

The 2017 U12 and U11 Youth Training Camp of Chinese Football Association (North China Division) concluded in Beijing on Oct 7.  13 young soccer players from Inner Mongolia entered the camp and were all awarded for their outstanding performances.

More than 60 participants from Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi and Inner Mongolia were divided into five groups for cross matches. Eventually, six young players from Inner Mongolia were enlisted in the best team by the trainers.

Qu Yandong, coach of the youth soccer squad and Zhang Dong, director of region’s youth training center, were also awarded for their work.

“Youth signifies future. Teenage players have been a new engine driving the development of Chinese soccer”, said Ma Yuan’an, technical advisor of Chinese Women Football Team.

“The camp has gathered elite soccer players in North China, and provides a platform for the young players to exchange skills. It’s expected to cultivate talented players for professional and national teams”, added Ma.
