The musical is based on a true story of two Mongolian girls. Reputed as "Prairie Sisters", Long Mei and Yu Rong put their lives in danger for protecting collective property. Their heroic story has spread throughout the country.
The show, elaborately created by Inner Mongolia Arts University, blended unique Mongolian dance and music and musical art forms.
It offered a full picture of the bravery and persistence of Prairie Sisters with the use of Montage and combination of realism and romanticism.
