Inner Mongolia holds first session of 13th people's congress

The first session of the 13th People’s Congress of Inner Mongolia autonomous region was held in Hohhot on Jan 24, gathering 526 deputies to examine the region’s economic and social development during 2017 and to approve plans to guarantee a bright future for the region.

Bu Xiaolin, chairwoman of Inner Mongolia People’s Government, delivered a work report to review the progress made during the past year. Hu Ercha, deputy director of the 12th Inner Mongolia People’s Congress gave a report to the new congress.

Regional deputies listened to summary reports from the departments of finance, court and procuratorate, and voted for members of the standing committee of the 13th Inner Mongolia People’s Congress.
