Relict gulls (Ichthyaetus relictus) fly over Nailun Lake at a wetland park in Dengkou county, Bayannuur (Bayannur), Inner Mongolia autonomous region on April 10. The local public security department has recently reported observing the gulls in local wetland areas. The birds are protected animals and are one of the world’s most endangered species. As temperatures rise, this year’s migratory season has seen plenty of activity in Dengkou’s wetland areas. [Photo/nmgnews.com.cn]
