A drone view shows Tianchi on Tuofeng Ridge, a lake formed in volcanic craters, in Arxan (Arshaan), Hinggan League, North China’s Inner Mongolian autonomous region on Aug 5. Lying near the southwestern foothills of the Greater Hinggan Mountains, Arxan, a regional scenic spot, features an exceptionally dense concentration of volcanic landforms including volcanic clusters, hot springs, lakes formed in volcanic craters and granite hills.
