A Pingju Opera telling the story of Inner Mongolia's early battles against desertification is staged at Inner Mongolia Bureau of National Art Troupes in Hohhot, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Aug 14. The show is based on the stories of Tie Gang, Bao Wenhua and Li Dapa, who devoted their lives to fight desertification and increase the amount of greenery in the autonomous region.
