An agricultural machine is working on harvesting soybeans in Zalantun, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Oct 8. The Cold Dew, the 17th solar term of the traditional Chinese lunar calendar, begins this year on Oct 8 and ends on Oct 22. During this period, temperatures are much lower than during White Dew in most areas of China. The dew is heavier and colder and there is less rain. Autumn crops ripen during this period.
