The final for the Inner Mongolia division of the 2019 Microsoft Imagine Cup was held at Inner Mongolia University (IMU) in Hohhot, the capital city of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Dec 7.

The Imagine Cup is the world's premier student technology competition and has been held for the past 17 years. Since 2003, Microsoft has provided its technology to support this global platform, helping students turn their dreams into reality.

Students from across the world compete in teams to bring new ideas to life. Working with mentors and industry leaders, they receive constant feedback to further hone and develop their projects.

Sponsored by Horinger New Area, 10 teams from Inner Mongolia's colleges and universities presented their projects using Microsoft PowerPoint slides and on-site demonstrations.

Following fierce competition, the Yunti team from Inner Mongolia Normal University won first place and the right to compete in the national semi-finals. They will compete against teams from other divisions to qualify in the China division of the Imagine Cup.
