Inner Mongolia foreign trade grows in January

Inner Mongolia saw its foreign trade volume rise 11.5 percent year on year to 9.13 billion yuan ($1.37 billion) in January, according to Hohhot customs department, on Feb 21.
Exports saw a year-on-year rise of 21.9 percent to 3.42 billion yuan, while imports totaled 5.71 billion yuan –– up 6 percent from the previous year.
Trade with countries involved in Belt and Road Initiative and Mongolia grew by 23.8 percent and 24 percent respectively.
