The first international ecological agriculture and animal husbandry expo will be held in Hohhot, in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Oct 10-12.

Covering an area of 120,000 square meters, the expo will include four exhibition areas to display agricultural and livestock products from across Inner Mongolia and the world.

Inner Mongolia's major dairy companies, including Yili and Mengniu, will have stands to demonstrate the progress the country has made in the dairy sector.

It is also expected to be a platform to promote the exchanges between dairy players across the world.

Local media said that agricultural machinery and the latest agricultural pesticides will also be exhibited during the expo.
