The Inner Mongolia Green Agriculture and Livestock Trade Fair kicked off at the Shanghai Everbright Convention and Exhibition Center in Shanghai on Sept 5.

The trade fair's slogan is "Let the world have a taste of Inner Mongolia", and it focuses on high quality products from the region's agricultural and animal husbandry sectors.

The trade fair runs from Sept 5 to 8 in Shanghai, and will also be held in Guangzhou, Guangdong province starting Nov 7.

The trade fair covers a total area of 15,800 square meters and includes activities such as exhibitions and sales of Inner Mongolian green agricultural and livestock products, exhibitions of e-commerce poverty alleviation products, and cultural tourism exhibitions. Inner Mongolian specialties will also be available to sample and buy.

In addition, practitioners of local intangible cultural heritage items have been invited to cook delicacies with high-quality green ingredients for visitors to taste.

In recent years, Inner Mongolia has been promoting agricultural and animal husbandry brands and the export of green agriculture and animal products. It has even introduced a new platform for promoting and selling such products. The fair focuses on Inner Mongolia's unique food culture by exhibiting high-quality green food ingredients from 12 leagues and cities throughout the region.
