Inner Mongolia cultural expo to open in Hohhot
The 4th Inner Mongolia Cultural Expo Fair will be held at the Inner Mongolia International Convention and Exhibition Center in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, from Sept 20 to 24, according to local authorities.
The main venue will consist of eight major exhibition areas focusing on the characteristics of cultural enterprises and the development of cultural industries in the autonomous region.
This year's expo will also feature two sub-venues in Hohhot Monishan Intangible Cultural Heritage Town and Hohhot Yuquan district.
Exhibitors from countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative have been invited to participate in the exhibition to showcase their cultural achievements and help promote the development of international trade in cultural products.
Organizers selected Italy to participate as the guest of honor. It will display Italian cultural and creative products, fashion products, and more. Nearly 20 exhibitors from other countries and regions were also invited to exhibit their unique artistic and cultural products.
Many famous Chinese museums have been invited to exhibit museum-themed cultural and creative products. A number of influential Chinese cultural enterprises have also been invited to participate.
Many interactive activities will be offered to liven up the exhibition.
