2020-01-08

The men’s group A snow soccer competition at the 14th China National Winter Games concluded in Hulunbuir in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Dec 29, according to the organizers.

It was the first time snow soccer was included in the China’s national winter games.

It attracted the participation of 11 teams -- from Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region and Hubei, Yunnan, Sichuan, Jilin, Shaanxi and Heilongjiang provinces -- to compete on the snow fields.

Over a seven-day competition period starting on Dec 23, the Hubei team stood out among the nationwide participants and won first place. It was followed by the Inner Mongolia autonomous region team and the Shaanxi team.

Another four groups of men’s and women’s snow soccer competitions will be held in Hulunbuir from January to February.
