Hohhot airport resumes more flights
Hohhot Baita International Airport resumed more flights to meet the needs of passengers, starting April 15, according to a report in the Hohhot Daily.
Airport officials said that on that day Hohhot-Nanning direct flight GX8847/48 resumed. It is scheduled to fly three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Starting April 16, Hohhot-Tianjin-Xiamen flight SC4843/44 reopened. That flight flies once daily.
Starting April 28, Hohhot-Changsha-Quanzhou flight (MF8137/38) will be resumed and is scheduled to fly on every Tuesday and Saturday.
Officials said that in order to effectively ensure the safety of passengers, the airport had established multiple temperature detection points in the terminals.
The airport has also optimized the issuance of passenger check-in seats and arranged for passengers to sit in every other seat, according to the situation of the flight.
Officials added that public places in the terminal building are being cleaned and disinfected several times a day -- including check-in counters, security channels, water dispensers, seats, trash cans and elevators.
The cabins of the planes are also being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after flights.
