National People’s Congress deputies from North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region to the third session of the 13th National People’s Congress submitted 174 motions this year, an increase of 18 motions from last year, according to local officials.

A total of 47 Inner Mongolia NPC deputies submitted motions in 10 areas. The motions involved development planning, construction projects, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and water conservation. 

The other motions were on energy, post and telecommunications, finance, taxation and finance, tourism and services, urban and rural construction and the resource environment, social and public affairs and the administrative legal system.

Officials said the motions focused on the overall situation of the work of the Party and the State, the concerns of the grassroots -- and closely followed the new path of high-quality development based on ecological priorities and green development, which meet the development needs of Inner Mongolia.
