2020-06-26

In order to advance the reform of enterprises and promote the development of the real economy, the Inner Mongolia Property Rights Trading Center has established a service platform for State-owned enterprises reform, investment and financing, according to Xinhua News Agency.

The trade center was established in 2002. It allocates resources in a market-oriented manner, focusing on the role of value preservation and appreciation and the orderly transfer of State-owned assets, capital, and resources.

Officials said the types of transactions involve the transfer of various types of corporate equity, physical assets such as real estate and vehicles, financial assets, debt assets, franchising rights, mining rights, land use rights, rural property rights, and environmental energy transactions such as greenhouse gas emission rights.

Wen Li, general manager of the trade center, explained that that as of May 2020, the center had completed a total of 19,740 transactions in various property rights transactions and purchases, with a turnover of nearly 50.5 billion yuan ($7.14 billion) since its establishment .

While guaranteeing the transfer of property rights, it has helped State-owned assets to increase in value by nearly 3 billion yuan through the market mechanism and reduced costs for State-owned enterprises by nearly 3.3 billion yuan.
