A themed exhibition displaying the cultural and tourism products of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region is being held at the Inner Mongolia Exhibition Center in the capital city Hohhot, according to local officials.

The five-day exhibition kicked off on July 25 and will run to July 29.

Its theme is integrating culture with tourism and creating a better life.

The organizers said it aims to boost the development of the local culture and tourism industries and expand market channels.

The exhibition has set up several areas to display Inner Mongolia’s intangible cultural heritage – such as Mongolian music, Mongolian yurts, local food and handicrafts— as well as recommended travel routes and destinations, alongside technologies related to culture and tourism.

The event is being sponsored by the culture and tourism department of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, co-organized by the culture and tourism bureaus of cities and banners in the autonomous region.
