The fourth session of the 13th People's Congress of Inner Mongolia autonomous region commenced on Jan 26 in the autonomous region's capital city Hohhot.
The event is due to conclude on Jan 30.
Deputies in attendance will examine the autonomous region's economic and social development during 2020 and will approve plans for the current year and the next five-year plan period.

The 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) for Inner Mongolia autonomous region, the 2035 Long-term Goal Outline (a draft document) and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Regulations on Promoting National Unity and Progress will be reviewed and approved during the session.
