The fourth session of the 13th People's Congress of Inner Mongolia autonomous region concluded in Inner Mongolia's capital city Hohhot on Jan 30.
It saw the participation of more than 490 deputies who examined the autonomous region’s economic and social development during 2020 and approved plans for the current year and the following five-year period.
The meeting passed resolutions of the fourth session of the 13th People's Congress of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region on the government work report, the implementation of Inner Mongolia’s national economic and social development plan in 2020 and the national economic and social development plan in 2021, the implementation of the 2020 budget and the resolution of 2021 budget.

It also passed resolutions on the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) of the National Economic and Social Development of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the Outline of the Long-term Goals for 2035; as well as the work reports of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the High People’s Court of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the People's Procuratorate of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
In the current year, Inner Mongolia will continue to explore a new path of high-quality energy development that prioritizes the environment and green growth and comprehensively improves people’s livelihoods.
